The 8th Street Steakhouse has the finest dry-aged handcrafted steaks from Colorado Buffalo, Prime-grade NY strips, 18 oz. Bone-in Ribeye, bacon-wrapped filets to Wagyu Kobe Beef. With steaks starting at $23.95, including unlimited house salad and Texas toast, this is truly a restaurant not to be missed!!

With a magnificent Western ambience, our restaurant is focused around our two 20-foot lava rock grills where our patrons season and sauté their steaks to perfection. Our unique dining style is perfect for wedding rehearsals, ski clubs, team functions, corporate events, or any other reason your group of 20 to 150 is not only looking for a great steak, but a great experience to go along with it!!! Our upstairs balcony seating is perfect for groups of any size and offers private salad bar, meat case, and grill. Our unique grill-your-own style allows guests a more "social" dining experience typically preferred with large parties. We also have the ability to create a menu to fit any group size and budget.

Loved this experience. The only thing I would say is that there should be a bigger advertisement that you cook your own steak. Loved it, but it was a surprise.

It was a unique and fun experience. There is a great selection of steaks (buffalo was my favorite) and the ability to grill your own was enjoyed by all.

Great spot, but know what you’re getting into!! You cook your own steak, so be prepared for that, it’s not a normal steak house. But it’s fun and foods good.

Really an interesting concept. At first I didn't feel like cooking, but then the whole family helped which made it a fun family experience! We had a good time and we really enjoyed it! We will definitely go back the next time we are in Steam Boat.

Yes it’s “touristy” but what else would you expect? It’s a fun, lively place and with the recommendations we received from the staff we ended up having a delicious dinner (Colorado buffalo steaks). If you find the idea of having to grill your food next to friends and family unattractive, this place is not for you. We loved it.
