Taking its name from the Constitution, newly refreshed Article One – American Grill blends an unforgettable atmosphere and world-class cuisine, from the lavish breakfast buffet—host to an omelet bar, meats, flaky pastries, and fresh fruit—to the gourmet dinner options including meat dishes and freshly caught seafood to the special holiday brunches.     Probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Once seated it took 15 minutes to even be Acknowledged and get coffee, another 15 to place an order. The coffee is the worst I have ever had, like they were actually trying to make bad coffee (I usually take my coffee with 2 creams and for this coffee 6 sugar and 4 cream later it still looked and tasted like butter Mississippi mud). The orange juice tasted expired or pungent and the food was barely okay (for a bill of $80 for 2 people I would have expected much better). Saved yourself a lot of money and a huge disappointment, skip this place.

    Thank for leaving a review. Although we strive to be the best hotel near the capital we can miss our mark sometimes, that's why your feedback is much appreciated because it helps provide ways we can improve. Waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged and served is a challenge that can be fixed. I would personally like to apologies if we failed to accommodate you during your stay with us. I will definitely talk to my team to insure our service is much better in the future. Have an amazing week.

    Food was better than expected but just ok, service was poor. Tried it at night and unfortunately during breakfast also, not worth it.

    The restaurant host did not honor our reservation. He said that Open Table was not linked up to their computer system and he didn’t understand why I was allowed to make a reservation. He further berated me about how I shouldn’t have made a reservation and needed to wait in line when I had no idea that they didn’t honor it. After being treated in such a way we decided to go eat elsewhere.

    The restaurant was not set up for reservations. There was no hostess and they were very short staffed. After waiting over 10 minutes, we ended up seating ourselves. The actual menu did not match what is advertised on OpenTable. Our waiter did a great job, despite having way too many tables. When we eventually got our food, it was good. I think the experience is misrepresented on OpenTable. We were expecting a full restaurant experience, not a hotel lounge.

    Excellent service. Located in Hyatt. Great staff. Good food, reasonable prices. Not crowded at lunch, but reserve if want main dining area, not bar area.

    The food was delicious and the portion sizes were substantial. We did not get up from the table hungry. The staff provided us with wonderful surprise dessert, for we were celebrating the 51st anniversary of our first date.

    Article One is perfect if you want to have a quiet business lunch. The tables aren't on top of each other, the service is terrific and it never gets very loud. The food is good, some items are much nicer than others. It does feel like hotel food, but for the aforementioned reasons (in particular the outstanding service) we like to have business luncheons there.

    The breakfast buffet was very good. There are various options of food. They serve bacon, eggs, home fried potatoes, cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins, etc. I look forward to eating here again in the future.
