Benihana（ベニハナ）は他にはないダイニング体験を楽しめるレストランです。専属シェフが、グループ用の相席テーブルで伝統的な鉄板焼きの技を披露しています。目の前でスライスしたり、さいの目に切ったりする様子を眺めながら、美味しいステーキや、柔らかいチキン、ジューシーなシーフードを目と舌で楽しめます。腕の良い寿司職人による寿司や、贅沢な特製カクテルも用意しています。Benihana Columbusはポラリス・ファッション・プレイスのライフスタイルセンターにあるため、ショッピング前後に食事をするのにも最適です。専属シェフによる昔ながらの鉄板焼きを、18席ある鉄板焼きテーブルの1つで楽しめます。よりプライベートな空間として、4つのセミプライベートのテーブルもあります。月曜〜木曜の17:00〜19:00、金曜の16:00〜19:00まで、バーとラウンジエリアでハッピーアワーを開催しています。

This was my first time here. We went for my Birthday. The service was slow. Very slow. We hadn’t had our salads by the time the chef started cooking. The waiter didn’t ask if we were there celebrating anything. I did tell him it was my Birthday myself. I asked for the green tea that came with my meal and it never arrived. Drink refills were nonexistent. The food was fine. The chef seemed tired and over it for the day. We had already paid when the waiter came and asked the rest of the table if they wanted sorbet. No Birthday celebration at all or asked to purchase anything extra for it. Very disappointed. I’m thankful it wasn’t my child’s birthday experience, but only mine. Won’t be back.

We had a reservation set for 8:15, we didn’t get seated until 9-9:20ish. On top of that we had to wait almost an hour to get someone to cook the food and actually eat. The service was amazing nothing on their end because stuff happens, but i just think that if you don’t actually have the set time reservations that you are offering available that you should let guest know in advance. We didn’t leave the restaurant until like 11:10 that was almost THREE hours.

I made a reservation at 8, wasn’t seated until 9. The chef didn’t come to the table and start cooking until 9:45. They must have been short staffed! I’ve never waited that long with a reservation.

We had a 45 min wait to be seated with a reservation. Food started to be cooked 1 hr and 30 mins after reservation time. Meal took 2.5 hours and many items were over cooked with char. A few of the chefs are good but it’s not consistent.

Rocky, our chef, was a hoot. Full of energy. Very interactive with a demanding group of customers. Very talented at cooking and serving exactly what each person requested. Well worth a cash tip at the end of the meal. Fun evening with my wife and three couples we had never met before, but rocky made it a fun experience with great food.

Me and some friends came in at 3 pm hoping to have quick service and some lighthearted entertainment. Unfortunately it appeared only the manager was serving tables and by the time our meals finished cooking we still hadn’t gotten our rice. Our chef also openly admitted repeatedly she was only doing certain performances because she had to, and seemed very uninterested in actually entertaining.

The food and the chef were not the problem. The issue here is communication and waitstaff. I must have told our waitress 4 times I was allergic to mushrooms. She sat a bowl of soup with mushrooms in front of me. She forgot our table numerous times, at one point even admitting it. Our dinner was over 3 hours long. Whole tables that came in after us, were seated, served , and left before we even got to our main meal. And it wasn’t just her. The table next to us had the same issue with allergies. They told their server they were allergic to shrimp- so the chef proceeds to cook this man’s meal alongside shrimp…smh. The manager was less than helpful. When we started to have issues I said something about how the server said she would get me a different bowl of soup without mushrooms and never came back . The managers response? Never once did she apologize. She told me how busy they were tonight and that to get a soup without mushrooms would take some time, and again they were busy. There are so many more things that made this a terrible experience , too many to list. She only refilled drinks 1 time (after promising over and over to do so) . She forgot who ordered what and had to come back multiple times to figure out the check. She brought items no one asked for and seemed confused as to who did. It goes on and on. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Awesome experience for my Husbands Birthday. We had Rocky as our cook and he was excellent. The manager came to our table and was extremely nice.
