The odor in the hibachi area smelled offensive like an old dirty kitchen. I am sure it was the carpet.

Took about 25-30 minutes for us to get a chef while seated at the table. But other than that, it went well.

William cooked very well and paid attention to each customers request perfectly. However service was extremely slow. It may not be the waitress's fault but the appetizers and drinks took almost an hour to arrive after we ordered. When it was time to pay, we used the Benihana gift certificates to redeem and the Manager took another 30 minutes to adjust the bill. Why does it take so long for the Manager to redeem and adjust the check????? Do not come here to see effective and streamlined service. At least the food was prepared well.

Arrived at 5:45 for a 6pm and did not get seated until 7pm. Cook started at 8:30, food was good. Then waited over 30 minutes to pay the bill. Was not a good overall experience from the service side.

For starters, reservations at this place mean an additional 30-60+ minutes after your said/booked time. Simply put, they overbook and it was apparently obvious in the demeanor of the host’s energy who did not have the best game face/attitude on. Their information on wait time was not aligned and it showed. I was told 30 minutes additional after my reservation time which was closer to 60. Other parties who came in after me were told 45 minutes wait time. 2nd - My party/table was not celebrating a birthday, anniversary or some type of big milestone. Based on this experience, we did not get an experienced chef who could dice and throw shrimp into bowls and create some high energy with their tools and make it engaging and fun. From other Benihana locations/experience, it set my standard high and I was expecting the same at this location which was nowhere near the scale. 3rd - A must whenever serving sushi, the same host who was leading customers to their table with menus, was also delivering sushi … please, please, please must know what hamachi and tuna looks like as there is a vast difference between the two. 4th -At the end of the night, two workers at the host stand needed to save the arm massaging session for after clock out time. This is not a massage parlor and completely unprofessional. Corporate HR needs a refresh for all employees. This visit was only a one time, no repeat. 5th - The upshot is that I had some quality time with meeting new people.

It was a very busy Saturday evening, so I didn’t mind a little wait. The chef was nice, but please ensure all chefs are wearing gloves. Our chef’s hands looked like he works on cars, which you might imagine isn’t the best thought when you’re about to eat the food that person is cooking. I was totally grossed out. The chef at the next table had gloves on as well as a mask. When leaving, I noticed that some chefs had on gloves and others didn’t. Maybe it was this particular chef’s hands but it was very gross and made us uncomfortable.

We were lucky to get the private room (at a reasonable charge) without planning ahead. After turning off the music, it was the perfect noise level for two adults who are hard of hearing and four sensory-sensitive children. Tiffany and German were absolutely amazing. German was especially great at interacting with three of my kids and Tiffany was the epitome of understanding with my one son who is profoundly autistic. Her attention through the whole meal was just the best. Everyone had a great time and the food was obviously delicious.
