We initially were given a female chef that was slow in preparation as if she was new. She cooked everything separately we had been there over an hour and only thing she prepared was the rice with the chicken and egg she hadn't started the veggies or the steak. I was thrown when she started the eggs and rice first no seasoning until we asked. My daughter asked for extra garlic butter she stated she had to ask everybody else. Then she cooked some calamari shrimp and chicken I don't know why but my chicken ended up in the calamari juice and I questioned her as to why not cook the shrimp next to the calamari as opposed to my chicken she immediately got offended packed up and left us hanging with cold chicken fried rice. Initially she said she don't speak English as well so ig that was her way of starting off on the wrong foot because she ended up speaking english.🤫 We were not rude we were simply trying to enjoy the atmosphere but noticed things were moving a Lil slow and wrong. However the manager did send another chef out that was perfect and cooked everything over to our satisfaction as it always has been. I will say ty for the discount but Benihana is not what it use to be at all! To the first chef I'd say more practice needed and you need to learn to be more professional because of your waisted time my kid was late to work. To the second chef I'd say great job you were fast and professional. We arrived at 7 didn't get out til 10. I drank 4 refills of strawberry lemonade that's how long we were there and of course we.could not enjoy it had to get carryout right away because my daughter was already late for work. Oh and nobody sang or beat on the drums or table for the bday celebrations and had to ask for the ice cream.

So my daughter birthday experience here was totally horrible. Our reservation was at 5:45. The chef did not come to our table until after 7 o’clock on top of that it was raining inside the restaurant rained on me and our food and on top of that they only gave us 50% off our bill my daughter did not get the experience. She cried, and they had to cook her food in the back horrible experience ever.

Service was awful… slow, disorganized and lacking. Multiple orders were wrong after being confirmed multiple times. Almost everyone at the table should have gotten dessert but the waitress just brought everyone their checks instead and rushed us out the door. The hibachi chef was great which is why this gets two stars but ultimately this was my last time going to the Troy location. I’ve been to this location once before and had a similar experience, I had hopes that maybe that was a fluke but seems this is the norm here.

Everything was great: food was delicious, staff and the chef were friendly and didn’t take long on any service, and restaurant was clean. Thank you for allowing me to have a great time with family celebrating my birthday.

Restaurant was dirty, with grease running down photos. Bathroom was dirty, with all stalls out of toilet paper. Expensive and not worth the money, food was overcooked. Definitely the worse hibachi restaurant in the area.

My overall experience with great! It was a little bit of a wait for the drinks and soup however the staff made up for that. They apologized and the manager. The chief and the waitress made my daughter’s birthday experience great!!
