Bistro Mezzaluna has been a long time favorite of Fort Lauderdales discerning local diners and snowbirds alike. Located in a magnificant freestanding location at 1821 SE 10th Ave. (just a few short blocks away from our original location).
Under the watchful eyes of executive chef Jose Diaz, we maintain our reputation for well-crafted bistro fare. Add to that an award winning wine list (arguably the best in the county) and exceptional service and you will soon see why Bistro Mezzaluna has become synonymous with great dining.

The eclectic menu boasts such delights as ; U.S.D.A. prime steaks, homemade pastas and the freshest seasonal seafood including colossal stone crab claws. This restaurant used to be my “go to” place whenever I invited out of town guests for dinner. Last night I ordered as a starter the Bisque and the main course the veal Scalopini. I believe the Bisque was spoiled, my friend hesitated eating it, I did eat it and ended up with a stomach upset. The veal was smothered with onions and cheese, not my favorite way. Overall it was my worst meal in over 20 visits to that restaurant. The waiter was very nice, the place was very noisy for people who are hard of hearing.

perfecto - didn't have to ask for a thing. Bread was hot; waiter worked at the original 17th Street Address location and has been at this location for 14 years. The pan roasted yellow tail with lump crab meat, capers, tomatoes in a white wine sauce with asparagus on the side was to die for. Wish I had some right now. Thank you.

3 of us were there on a Sunday around 6:30 and we had a very nice quiet dinner. We shared a calamari and shrimp appetizer with martini. For dinner we had prime rib, shrimp scampi and salmon. The salmon was on top of a pear, walnut and goat cheese salad that was delicious. Service was fantastic. Great overall experience.

Service was a little slow in the beginning. We ordered drinks right away but it took a long time for them to come. Bread & water didn’t come until after the drinks when the waiter noticed we did not have it.

From the time we walked in everything was amazing. Service was great and attentive, food was on point with all enjoying all dishes and dessert was great.
