    We were there for my mother-in-law‘s 90th birthday. She ordered the lobster roll and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and I both had the Clam Chowder which was delicious and I had a salad which was also very good. For dessert my mother-in-law ordered the sorbet and Morgan the waitress came out with candles on it. Our table was a corner table facing the water and the views were wonderful. Morgan was top-notch. All in all very nice experience.

    We originally planned to make reservations for a restaurant in Providence that we love but the location/timing didn’t work out for our large group. We checked alternatives online and remembered we had been to the Boathouse years ago during the summer and decided to book a couple weeks in advance. What a fantastic time we had! Food was absolutely delicious and service was top notch (thank you Holly!!!!). Three generations of family and some picky eaters; and nearly every plate polished off. You can’t go wrong with anything here! The calamari was light and tender. Not rubbery at all! The gentlemen all had some oysters and found them fresh and refreshing (the rest of us had a chuckle over their faces from the cocktail sauce with horseradish. They were not expecting the hear lol though it was very good). Swordfish was absolutely delicious; the grilled shrimp platter was more plentiful than we had thought… oh my the fish and chips—- wow the batter was delicious! Filet was cooked to perfection and the glaze it came with just put it over the top. The salmon had the perfect crisp on the outside but tender and juicy within. The lobster roll also! Wow. That shut up our 15 year old with the bottomless pit. We had kind of thought of this restaurant as a summer only place but they have definitely changed our minds and have gained some very happy and loyal patrons today! Thank you again! Your restaurant is amazing! We had the absolute best time today.

    It was my husband's birthday and our waitress was so accommodating! We have a lovely dinner with friends and our food was delicious. We enjoy this restaurant and you will too!
