                        Brunch at BXL was delicious. The French toast was tasty topped with berries. It’s a small place with anattentive waitstaff. Don’t hesitate to enjoy a meal at this hidden gem.

                        First time to the Belgium cafe and loved the ambience. The moules frites were amazing (we loved Vin Blanc & Crème and Thailandaise, Provençal would need more favour) especially the mouthwatering frites got me unstoppable, and the beer on tap was fresh. We also had Belgium waffle and tarte tatin which were high notes to end on. The only complaint was the waitstaff seemed very busy and were a bit hard to get their attention. Would definitely recommend to local and tourist.

                        Great food and beer, excellent service too. Pretty expensive but that’s the neighborhood for you. Would go again.

                        We had a great brunch, we weren’t rushed and the food was delicious. They were very accommodating of food preferences too.

                        Seems to be a hidden gem on 43rd St. Their onion soup was very tasty. We shared a pot of mussels and frites. Missing was hard, crusty bread for the broth. Otherwise very delicious and one pot was shareable. We finished with chocolate mousse and cappuccino. A very lively dining experience.

                        Very Loud. Had visited their old location years ago, much different vibe in times square. Good mussels but the wine was very $$ by the bottle and it was incredibly loud. Not bad for a sports bar but hard to have a conversation.

                        The place is terribly noisy to the point where you just can't have any real conversations with your friends at table. We arrived before it was packed, but the service was still slow (always friendly however). But the biggest problem was the food. Even the mussels were tough, gritty, and, worst of all, bland. The others in our party had selections that were also fairly tasteless and overcooked/underseasoned. The two best things were truly excellent frites and cold, very fresh tasting draft Stella. And again, cordial friendly staff who still made mistakes and delivered our 4 meals at different times.

                        Delicious food, busy and buzzing atmosphere. It’s quite loud in the small space, but somehow just adds to the vibe. My a Belgian boyfriend and I come when we visit NYC at least once a year. It’s a must.
