   We have eaten here twice—once for lunch and once for dinner—and it has been a wonderful experience. The wait staff is attentive and charming, providing excellent recommendations and explanations of their offerings as requested. The ambiance is upscale, but I observed that the staff treated everyone in the same respectful manner. The minimum dress should be considered business casual, although, to my knowledge, there is no dress code requirement. The dining room is set like a small French bistro. The food is fantastic. Delicate sauces and dishes that embody the French cuisine tradition. Save room for dessert, their in-house pastry chef doesn’t let you down – desserts are on par with the main course. Because this is fine dining, expect to pay for an experience on that level; you won’t be disappointed.

   My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner to celebrate my birthday. The drinks, food and staff were amazing.

   For both of us it was a delicious lunch from the start (asparagus fennel carrot salad with meyer lemon vinaigrette), through entrees (chicken breast with a delicate morel brandy cream sauce, and salmon with artichoke and lemon beurre blanc), to dessert of tarte tatin (apple tart with ice cream etc). Also good mix of choices of wines by the glass. It's a comfortable, welcoming French restaurant with linen tablecloths. The service was excellent and friendly. It was full at noon and yet sound level was fine (easy to hear and talk). If you like beautifully served, flavorful food in a comfortable place you can have a conversation, you'd be happy here.

   This restaurant never disappoints. For authentic French cuisine, this is the best place in the city. I had the halibut this time and it was perfectly cooked, delicious, as is everything I’ve eaten here. The service is outstanding and the ambience is quaint and romantic, yet not fussy.

   I really enjoyed Cafe Provence, it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be going back. The Scallops were amazing. There are several other menu items that we are excited to try.
