Absolutely loved everything tonight. Great service and great food. I had the wedge salad and Mahi tacos which were perfect.

First time at Clayton’s Siesta Grille - easy parking (though the lot is very small, there is paid parking across the street), warm reception, seated promptly. Cozy corner booth, as requested. Relatively quiet, conversation possible. Birthday was acknowledged with a candle and a song. Two had the filet - the guest of honor thoroughly enjoyed his, I enjoyed mine less so. My filet was less than an inch thick and had very little taste or seasoning on the steak itself (although the demi-glacé was delicious and the steak was cooked properly) - I’ve had much better at a chain steakhouse. The mashed potato and grilled vegetable sides were very good and quite tasty. Our third had the grouper and absolutely loved it! He thought his sides were delicious also. He cleaned his plate. Bread was lovely, butter was soft. Desserts (all had macadamia nut tarts) were remarkable - definitely save room. The margarita was a heavy pour, but at $16 one should hope so. Service was attentive without being intrusive, our server, Jessica, did a wonderful job. We had a very enjoyable birthday celebration.

If you go at prime time, expect to wait for your food. Prime is around 6:30/7. Food is great, service very good and friendly. Bar staff is a bit overwhelmed at times, but solid.

Overpriced specials, server had a bad attitude, noise level was very high, limited parking. Overall the worst experience and restaurant in the Siesta Key area. Absolutely go elsewhere.

Attentive & friendly service. Completely disappointed in the “special” fresh catch of the day…Pan sautéed Branzino “served with skin and tail” on bed of leaks and creamy shrimp risotto. Fish cooked perfectly and tasted good…however they charged me $46 for 1 half of a filet of Branzino …smaller that 1/2 a deck of cards…with no tail. RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED and not even the whole fish. What happened to the other side (filet) of the fish? I’ve never been to a restaurant that served 1/2 a fish but charged for the cost of 2 fish. Total ripoff!!!
