We went to Shoku on Christmas Day for the Christmas Menu. We made an early reservation at 1:30 which means we get there when it is quieter and less crowded, which we like. There was Christmas music playing of all the old favorites. The service was excellent throughout the meal with someone filling our wine glasses as needed, taking empty plates away promptly, and ensuring that we didn't need anything. The menu was delicious with two options for each course. I had the mushroom and chicken cannelloni and my husband had the traditional Catalan soup, Escudella y Carn D'olla, with was flavorful and plentiful. Then we both had the sea bass in a Catalan Sauce, and Apple Strudel with pistachio ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. All included wine and a final dessert of turrones and cookies for our sobremesa time. The price was very reasonable for this delicious meal. We will definitely go back.

I booked this place for my wife’s birthday dinner. It was a beautiful experience, the koi fish and the ponds next to the seating was amazingly done. They lit candle’s and the entire ambiance was amazing. I would definitely eat here again.

Tucked away a little off La Rambla, was a perfect spot. Had the dumplings (chicken) appetizer and was amazed at how good they were. Then on after one we had rolls, 4 Eel, 4 Wagyu, 8 prawn tempura. Not sure what was in the Eel but it was so buttery and luxurious, we actually had more instead of desert! The prawn tempura had asparagus and it elevated the flavor. We would go back again and highly recommend KUZU!!!

Delicious food, brilliant ambiance - a definite must if visiting Barcelona.
