Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Komodo Dallas features an ultra-contemporary exterior facade that gives way to an inviting indoor-outdoor flow. The restaurant takes visual cues from its homebase, including Komodo’s signature illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns and duck display windows. From there, pops of saturated color are added, such as with the lounge’s eye-catching wallpaper and a dramatic fabric-draped corridor. Komodo Dallas spans two stories and seats up to 274 diners across tabletop, booth and bar seats.Komodo Dallas’ menu offers delicious takes on Southeast Asian dishes, all of which have been developed and interpreted with a global approach.     Our first time here and we will blown away by the beauty of the space. We enjoyed hearing from our server, Shayla about the history and details of the owner and his concept behind the architecture. It really added to the experience. The cocktails were amazing, the crab cakes were some of the best we've had, and the Texas Akaushi Steak was phenomenal. Scallops and okra were great. Lobster bisque was a bit too salty for all of us but still tasty. Our server, Shayla however, made our night. She was engaged, thoughtful, patient, and we had so much fun with her. She definitely made my birthday dinner extra special. Huge asset to Nuri!

    Three of us experienced one of the best and most unique dinners we have had in a long time. We were celebrating a birthday and she remarked that it was the best birthday she had ever had. We had appetizers and entrees and each thing was better than the the one before. (Huge thumbs up to Leek salad and Swiss chard Tempura--trust me) The service was impeccable and timely. We will go back often👍🏼👍🏼🥰

    It flat out amazing as always. I’ve been going to Uchi since the original one opened up in Austin. I will always be coming back. Also our waiter so very kind and knew the menu inside and out. Even letting us try his favorite dish! 10/10
