We get our name from owner Scott Kim’s favorite restaurant he frequented as a child in Seoul, South Korea. It was during these meals with his father where Scott discovered his passion for food and hospitality.We use the best quality ingredients available. We are known for our incredibly fresh and well-prepared sushi, sashimi and rolls. We also offer authentic Asian dishes with our own modern flair added, such as our Stonepot Bibimbap, which is a traditional Korean dish that you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Our carefully curated cocktails contain unique ingredients such as sake, soju, lychee and yuzu. We're excited to announce our expansion into Wayne with our newly opened OSushi location on West Lancaster Avenue.     Food was incredible! Edamame dumplings were delicate, delicious - really an incredible flavor. The sea bass and black cod were both show stoppers. Amazing!

    Met my mom and brother at 6:30 for dinner on a Tuesday the week before Thanksgiving. Even though it was a weeknight I highly recommend having a reservation and get there early because parking  takes a while.  we had a really great server who was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some tips.  we ended up, ordering the spring rolls and steamed dumplings as an appetizer.  and shrimp pad, Thai spicy chicken, stone pot and a sweet beef stone pot as our entrées.  we were too full to get dessert. This is my fifth visit to Kooma in the last couple of years and it never disappoints.

    Food was great with inventive options especially tuna dumplings. Server was excellent, she paced the sushi options one at a time instead having it come all at once-allowed us to enjoy each different selection. It’s BYOB which increased the value but prices were fair and comparable to other restaurants. Overall enjoyed our experience.

    Nectar did not disappoint. The Pork Buns and spring rolls were tasty, the sushi was delicious in flavor and texture and the short ribs was excellent Fall comfort food. It is a bit noisy but nothing that ruins the experience.

    We had a 12-piece Omakase dinner, served to a total of 10 people by two chefs. The “experience” was terrific, and the chef was very informative and entertaining. The food was great, with some interesting types of sushi that we’d never had before. The food was prepared well and we were given information about it to make it more than just eating 12 small pieces of fish (I should say 11 pieces of fish and one piece of steak topped with sea urchin). It’s not cheap, and you need to factor this in to the decision about whether to go here, but if you’re looking for a great place for sushi with a different approach to serving it, I highly recommend it. This is our second time going there and we’ll be going back.
