I went to Bardo Lounge & Supper Club on 27th December with my family. There were 5 of us. We were not celebrating any occasion. In one simple word, our impression was that the food was outstanding! Starting from the first course, the Pickled Seasonal Veg, Apple & Parsnip soup, the Fall Salad and the main entre, we devoured the food. Four out of five of us had the 6 oz, Bardo Burger, which was delicious. Incidentally, we noticed only one dish based on fish, with hardly any sea food in the menu! The service was good! All in all, this was a restaurant where we will go again and again with friends and family!

Everything about Donato & Co was perfect from the lovely hostess who set a bright mood for our evening, to our thoughtful server Samuel, to Benjamin who was sweet and made sure to run our food to us on time. The food itself was super tasty and there were plenty of vegetarian options. We had Castelfranco (subbed vegetarian dressing); Scarpetta; Arancini; Tortino; and my favorite the Tortelloni. Overall, this place has top notch food and staff and I'm definitely going back next time I'm in town.

Wonderful traditional Afghan food! We loved the appetizer menu and shared a kabob entree. The bartender/waiter was helpful with the menu. My companion has been to Afghanistan, photographing the people, documenting the culture over a 20 year period, so she was especially pleased to find this spot. The food was a bargain by Bay Area standards. We’ll be back!

Always great! Can be a little chaotic checking in so would recommend getting there early. Crew on last night were super friendly! Drinks are phenomenal- well crafted!
