The bar offers 3 lofted areas for guests to relax and soak in the cityscape including unrivaled views of Tower Bridge.Uncomplicated and seamless, the bar’s first-class service ensures the ultimate escape from the city’s bustle. I opted for the Jan Set menu rate which online stated £25 for 2 courses and £30 for 3 courses, with a glass of fizz each. What we were charged was a £5 increase on both set menu options and no fizz. When I queried it, I was told I was wrong and even when I showed proof, the server wasn't convinced. He took off the service, but when I reworked the calculations, I should have had £40 deducted for the set menu and if we'd been given a glass of fizz each for 8 of us, I wouldn't have needed to buy one of the bottle of wines, thus saving another £40. So I was actually about £80 out of pocket befote I conside4 a service charge (which is optional). This was the main disappointment of the night, otherwise food was top notch, service was good even considering there were only 2 staff members. Toilets needed a refresh and despite informing the staff, the hand gel and cream still had not been replaced when I visited the toilet before leaving.
