Had an amazing brunch at Tootles and French for my boyfriend’s birthday on Sunday, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The menu isn’t overwhelming and every dish we had was flavorful and well-executed. The cocktails were great, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The owner was incredibly welcoming—he even gave us a house liquor on the way out as a thank you and shared details about their upcoming events (which I’m excited to check out!). A highlight was the live music, which was such a pleasant surprise—perfect volume, adding to the atmosphere without being too loud. Definitely a new favorite spot in Astoria, and I can’t wait to come back!

Dined for the first time on valentine’s day, the food and service were AMAZING! Don’t remember the name of our server but he was sweet, attentive, and informative about everything. We ordered the garlic aioli fried calamari and the mozzarella sticks with vodka sauce- by far the best appetizers i’ve ever had. For entrees, the rigatoni & burrata and caesar salad with grilled chicken was delicious and had enough to bring home for left overs! Will definitely be coming back!

I booked this restaurant for our Valentine Day dinner. We had a 9pm reservation but we’re not seated until almost 1 hour later. The restaurant did not keep us updated and I had to continuously ask the hostess how much longer. When we did get seated, we did not get menus for about 15 minutes and did not get to order for another 20 minutes. The appetizers took a while to come and the entrées took very long to come. I feel the restaurant did not properly plan for this holiday and seemed to be overbooked. The management never came to see how we were or to say sorry for the delay. On the positive side the food was very good. Not sure I would come back during a holiday.

My second time here and I have a new favorite. Food is very good, ambiance is comfortable and intimate and it feels like a place to both have a good relaxing dinner or celebrate a special occasion.

Had such a wonderful meal and drinks. Sat at the bar and ordered the mussels, crab cake, and the chicken pasta dish. Dessert was olive oil cake w blueberries it was so delicious too. We took a meatball pizza to go and my sons loved it. Bartender was fabulous. loved the place Not noisy and beautiful ambiance.
