The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. Happy Out is adding another string to its bow and taking on the Dublin brunch scene. At the weekend there will be an adventurous brunch menu with a variety of coffees and brewing methods to explore. Booked for five but no table was set. Slow start but it improved as the night went on M Steak and Fish and cheese all very good. Non alcoholic and one wasn’t a hit at all Non alcoholic cocktail was nice. Wines was good Good night all around

Really enjoyed our brunch. Staff member who seated and served us was welcoming and efficient. Caesar Salad and Burger & Chips were lovely, and both were served as generous portions with good quality ingredients. Will definitely return!
