Open in the warmer months, we offer an al-fresco dining experience complete with covered pegodas, heaters and deckchairs. The Longs is located in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside - a stone's throw away from many local attractions and landmarks. From exploring ancient ruins and stately homes to hiking through scenic trails, there are lots of interesting activities for those looking for things to do in this idyllic corner of England.

Outstandingly good meal - beautifully cooked sirloin steak, and my wife enjoyed her duck too. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, plenty of space between tables. A very good meal and experience.

Had the afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Fantastic service, very quick with the food and had refills of our hot drinks. The afternoon tea is quite a spectacle! Massive amount of food (we had to take some away in a box!) but all very tasty. We even had a bonus birthday choux bun with chocolate sauce at the end! Only slight downside was the festive Battenberg was a bit strange being bright green and red.
