Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. We welcome the local & wider community, walkers, cyclists & four legged friends and open daily from 10am.

We will serve breakfast sandwiches 10am-12pm daily, Lunch Monday -Saturday 12-3pm and Dinner 5.30-9pm, on Sunday food hours are 12.5.30pm and drinks only in the evening. Operating since 2014 and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere unrivalled in the area – with an exceptional seasonal menu and great range of quality beers, ales and handpicked fine wines to accompany it.

The Woodman is located in the picturesque village of Woodmansterne, just outside of Banstead, in Surrey. The restaurant now has a lovely cosy feel. Great food and service, big portions so good value, last time I had the pork belly bites for starter and they were delicious, my partner said he could just eat a whole bowl of them. This time I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it. Service all round was excellent, friendly and helpful, need to try the sunday roast next. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend

Lovely venue on a sunny evening for drinks in Sutton. The team working there are very accommodating of our group of 14. Do playing very chilled music helped to create the perfect atmosphere. Can’t wait to see what the Sri Lankan food is like once that opens in the evenings.
