An AA rated pub restaurant first built in the 1930s, The Foresters has a strong local fanbase and is a real favourite for relaxed celebration dining and those special nights out. Food was wonderful, service was friendly and welcoming even though they were all run off their feet with a table of 30!! It was a special occasion for us which was discreetly acknowledge by the team and it meant an awful lot to us. We will return without a doubt, it is a special place for us and the team helped to make this so. Thank you.

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

Had a roast dinner here several times and everything on the plate is always cooked to perfection! The roast meats are really good quality cuts and very tender. All served up with fresh Yorkshire puddings, veggies and generous gravy on the side.
