The nineteenth century former oxen house is the newest addition to the family of meticulously restored farm buildings. A truly delicious Christmas lunch. Perfect portion sizes presented beautifully. So so tasty. The White Hart has excellent caring staff that work so well as a team and made us feel very welcome. We don’t know where you’d find a better experience.

Our first visit - and won’t be our last. Three of us for lunch. Lovely stylish restaurant Good and interesting menu. Had a great meal with excellent wines. Staff professional and friendly. Great find.

Great food - lovely flavours but crumble portion too big and my beef had a lot of tissue I had to cut out which was inedible. Apart from that I would definitely recommend.

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
