Owain even uses the produce from his family farm in Wales!     We had a fabulous dinner at The White Hart. We were hosting friends visiting from Australia and they were impressed by the high quality of the food and the atmosphere. The service was also excellent. Our only minor complaint would be the high volume conversations (at times bordering on shouting) on the adjacent table which made conversation at our table difficult on occasion. But despite this our dinner was at the very top end for a village pub.

    What a gorgeous place, as soon as we walked in the staff were attentive and welcoming. We were seated and asked for an extra table setting as we had a late joiner, without hesitation they set an extra place. Drinks order was taken swiftly and drinks came in very good time, the atmosphere was very calm with moderate chatter in the background. We all ordered a Sunday roast and it is quite possibly the best roast dinner I have ever had in Oxfordshire, absolutely delicious! It was rather pricey but worth every penny. We will most definitely be back. Outstanding!

    The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
