The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the service was fantastic, gorgeous ambience and delicious food. We had the 2 course Heritage meal which was such good value, and had a glass of complementary English sparkling wine each and a dessert with candle as it was my birthday! Three of us had the beef and one the lamb and all agreed it was the tastiest lunch we’ve had for many a month. Staff were very attentive and we had no problem changing the veg dishes over. We didn’t have a desert and if I read correctly the cheese was £22 pounds, which seemed a tad expensive.
