Lovely staff, very accommodating and very dog friendly

Friendly and attentive staff! Great place to get away from the hubbub of Borough Market for a good value meal and drinks!

It’s been a while since we have been to GBK. This time we went back with our two children. Their first gbk trip and it didn’t disappoint. They loved their food. The waitress was lovely ( I think she was the manager as I had to give her my order due to allergies ) she was attentive to my children and one of them was keen to show her his pet rock 😂 and she engaged with him and spoke with him about it. The service was great. The food was great. We will be back. We had the blue smashed burger with skinny fries. Perfectly cooked and piping hot.

The Phoenix Pub offers an excellent experience with standout fish and chips—crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The food quality is consistently high across the menu. Nice place, needs smartening up a little. Lick of paint, new tables and chairs. Food was good, but the kitchen couldn't cope with the amount of orders so closed for 45 minutes to catch up. Not the best experience, especially when you are pushed for time
