Owned and operated by John Crook and his partner Erik Heck, The Flying Pig Yaletown is referred to as a nouveau Canadian bistro in the community for its fresh, local ingredients and quality food. The restaurant opened for business in August 2011 and is known for its contemporary Canadian and seafood specials. It has a nice décor comprising of a combination of dark and light colored wooden furniture, along with brick style and white painted walls.     One of my favorite restaurants. I have been coming here for years and it has always been delicious and an enjoyable time. Their summer patio set up is really pretty. It gives the vibe of a different ambiance that you could forget you're on West Hastings between towers. I hope they continue with it permanently.

    Had a lovely brunch today at the Tap & Barrel Bridges on Granville Island. They do a Happy Hour brunch before noon with all brunch $4 off so you have nothing to lose. The food was great, our server, Avielle was lovely and it's a perfect spot to sit. I have been here many times but didn't know about the deal on brunch. I'll be back - great food, great location and value.

    Amazing vibes, feels like you’re in the 1920s. There was live music, a pianist and singer who were great. Our server went above and beyond and was such a delight the whole evening. This is a message to the hotel: give charlotte a raise, she deserves it! Looking forward to our next cocktail and visit

    My wife and I went to Hawskworth for the first time (Me it was my second visit) and were throughly impressed. Service was attentive and the food very delicious, well prepared and warm. This is a restaurant that we will patronize. We went to Hawsworth to celebrate Valentine's day and my wife birthday and they brought a nice surprise of delicious home made candies. We felt welcomed the moment we stepped into Hawksworth.
