Food and service are great, but the main courses flavor are too strong, everything tastes like butter most of the time. but the beginning food are great.

Great place to eat before an event. Food is always good and Service is great.

I love going to the Canteen before the theatre. The fish and chips is probably some of the best I have ever tasted and I'm from the UK! My granddaughter and daughter loved the seared tuna and said the vegetarian Poutine was delicious. Only downside - no chocolate brownie - they were out of it so we were advised they had a chocolate mousse available which my granddaughter and I ordered. I don't drink and neither does my granddaughter (at least I hope not at her age). I asked the waitress whether there was any liquor in it. The overwhelming back taste of an orange - what tasted like Grand Marnier - completely overwhelmed the chocolate and for me ruined the dessert. I have never not finished a dessert. This was the exception. I asked the wait staff again whether there was any liquor in the mousse. She said not. it was a shame as otherwise I would give this 5 stars. I have never had a bad meal at the Canteen

Great service. The live piano was phenomenal. The kids menu was really cute

This restaurant was beyond my expectations. We ordered the brisket and lamb with the potato leek soup. The service was outstanding and the food was “fall off the bone” amazing! It was pricey but worth every penny! I would love to come back again in the summer.
