The 'original' Shark Fin Restaurant was established in 1980 at the top end of the little Bourke Street. Close to the Parliament Station, Shark Fin Inn achieves it's excellence by serving the finest Cantonese food at affordable prices. With lunchtime Yum Cha, takeaway service and an extensive a La Carte and banquet menus, Shark Fin Inn has remained favourite of many despite some strong neighbouring contenders over the years. It gives customers a good chance to savour the famous dishes from Hong Kong without the expensive price tag of the air ticket - or the meal.     My wife and I had dined here as a couple a few times. This time it was with her best friends for her birthday lunch. The food was of its normal very high standard, but with more of us at the table we could choose extra variety. While BBQ Pork Buns are a standard fare, at Secret Kitchen they are the best I have tasted anywhere in the world, with a little extra sweetness just making them perfect. We sampled a range of meat and vegetable dim sum, and nothing was left over. We will continue to make Secret Garden our Yum Cha of choice even though it is a 70km round trip for us. We enjoy Yum Cha at Secret Kitchen so much we are now planning to sample their dinner menu soon.

    My partner and i were so impressed. Such a beautiful ambience, the food was incredible. We had the duck boa buns (probably the best I've ever had) and lots of other share plates and cocktails. The service was amazing, they always checked to see if we were after more drinks, and constantly topped up our water. I loved how they spread out the meals, so they weren't coming out all at once. Will be highly recommending this restaurant to my friends, and will be returning. Thank you all for a beautiful night out.
