Such a wonderful experience as ever with Mercies. The new Beetroot on the menu was exquisite, genuinely one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. The smokiness of the smoked potato tarama with the beetroot was simply divine. Alongside that, the sirloin was amazing, the incredible carrot with its fantastic sauce and oh so tasty focaccia...this place is a foodie and cocktail aficionado's heaven. I urge you and anyone you know to book a table immediately and enjoy this Crouch End gem.

The food was amazing, couldn’t fault it, and the wine was great. Service was brilliant too, the only snag for us was the noise, given it’s a small place voices naturally carry so the music could do with being a bit quieter to make it easier to hear each other

Booked for birthday drinks on a friday at 2200 with my sister for 4 of us. Given great table at the front and really well looked after by the team for a special occasion (tap water always topped up for example). Drinks were superb quality.

Neighbourhood gem! Food is fresh and delicious, and the service is always fantastic. However, on this occasion, the waiter was a little too intrusive with our table as he took a liking to my nephew. He would stand near our table and watch him and us, and we felt very uncomfortable continuing our conversations when this was happening. Otherwise, great food and reasonably priced, and you can always manage to get a booking.

We enjoyed a wonderful family celebration meal for our son’s 18th birthday! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Received a complimentary dessert as it was our son’s birthday and we also got 20% off the bill as it was a Friday night deal! Would highly recommend Hot Rocks. We will definitely be return customers!
