Listed on Historic England’s 'buildings at risk register’ we have preserved and respected the 120 year old space, paying homage to the surrounding area’s rich history, creating a warm and inviting wine, cocktail and charcuterie bar.The venue offers rest and respite from the streets of London, with a considered drinks menu that has something for everyone - be that a glass from the thoughtful and eclectic wine list with over 30 sold by the glass or from a list of 16 signature cocktails.WC Bloomsbury’s food offering has been created to complement the drink selection. Poppies in Hanbury Street was Pop’s first restaurant and the one where the journey began. The retro-diner and takeaway is close to Pop’s heart as it brought 70year old Pat out of retirement. It fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening an East End chippie and a desire to offer customers a taste of the old East End.

A quiet, beautifully hidden space in the heart of Peckham. The menu is minimal and well-executed, and Francesco was a brilliant host. Furthermore, the tiramisu is the best I’ve had in London. We will definitely be coming back:)
