Another delicious meal and experience at the wonderful Victory Park Tavern. Our server, Melissa, was excellent and pleasant as she always is. The food was outstanding. We started with the burrata and fig jam special which was so good. My husband and daughter each had the hangar steak which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. So flavorful according to both! I had the Chilean sea bass which was awesome. I continue to highly recommend VPT for delicious and creative food and a most enjoyable all-around dining experience.

Beautiful decorated for the Christmas season. Sat in the enclosed outer area. Service was excellent. Matt, our waiter was very attentive The sushi rolls (Smokey Mountain and Black Widow) were colorful and very tasty. The entrees, the Scallop + Shrimp combo plus the Branzzino over the Mushroom Risotto with a Lemon Butter sauce was wonderful. The scallops were perfectly cooked , juicy and reasonably sized. The Branzzino was nicely seasoned and paired well with the Mushroom risotto. The Christmas cocktails were decadent - if you like chocolate and had a sweet tooth, you’d love them. We had a really nice time at the piano bar, the Christmas decor was beautiful and went so well with the existing decor, its like stepping back in time to another era. Kudos to whoever hung the garland on the outside columns, so symmetrical and well done, a grand holiday entrance providing a warm festive welcome! The second pianist we heard that evening was absolutely wonderful, he played beautifully and he sang with a light heart. He interacted with the crowd in a non intrusive way that enabled the diners not only to enjoy their food but to make casual musical requests and really enjoy the music as well. I could see that he was reading the room and playing more of the style he saw folks enjoying. I especially loved his riff that gently melded into a beautiful rendition of Let it snow, it made the cold December night sparkle with joy!

Service I didn’t like because they didn’t clear the tables when we finished our first round and it’s a meter of concern esp for me coz I have OCD AND can’t tolerate mess but the food was awesome.Everthing I ate was awesome.

Semolina is always our first choice when we come back to NJ. As usual is was phenomenal!!! The coffee crusted venison carpaccio was tender and delicious. I had the squash angolotti that were plump and the creamy sauce has just enough truffle and pepper notes. My husband had the spicy octopus ragú and it was light and flavorful. Finished the night with a hefty pot de crème that was perfection. Trish was out server and she was attentive, witty and efficient as the dining room was filling up punctuated by Bryson and Jillian who made sure we had everything we needed. once again walked away full and happy!
