Sekoya, pronounced just like “Sequoia,” means just that. Our cuisine, beverage program, and design work together to pay homage to the dynamic location of Palo Alto, while also introducing something new and fresh to the community.     Delicious food in a nice atmosphere! Loved the GF menu options since one in our party needed that. Also that clean oils are used as we try to avoid seed oils. We like the updates (not sure how recently done) and plan to come back more often.

    Nice place. Elegant and the staff were all welcoming courteous professional and friendly including the bartender We had the octopus and meatball for appetizers rack of lamb and the Wagyu beef steak especially . Everything was good except the Wagyu beef steak. Wagyu beef is supposed to be soft and melts in your mouth. This one didn’t. Hard to slice and we ordered medium rare. Dessert proliferates was good. Service from our server great but she forgot to give us plates though she knew we were sharing. Apart from that she was great and friendly. Good experience over all.

    With a name like The Village Pub you might envision a loud, local, low-dining experience but that couldn’t be further from the truth. With a great menu, helpful staff, and beautiful but intimate dining room, The Village Pub is a high-end dining experience without the bougie baggage of haute establishments. The cocktails are fun and balanced and the menu has some real knockouts: The plating and flavor on the Sunchoke Veloutê was very appealing. The Seared Hokkaido Scallops might have been the best scallop dish I’ve ever had. My wife loved the Crab Risotto. What made the experience special is connecting with staff, talking about dishes and recommendations, and having the kitchen send out some samples of things to try. Thanks Village Pub for a great night out!

    Another meal where we continue to be amazed at the quality of food that comes out of the kitchen. Without pretension they just take food selection and presentation to the highest level. We’ve dined at FSC at least 20 times and truthfully, You definitely get what you pay for
