A Memorable Evening at Joeys! If you're looking for a dining experience that blends delicious food, warm hospitality, and impeccable service, Joey King is the place to be. From the moment I stepped inside, the restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a delightful evening. Raha, the hospitality manager, greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. Her introduction to the menu was not only informative but also engaging, weaving in the restaurant's history with a personal touch that made us feel instantly connected to the space. It’s clear that Raha takes immense pride in ensuring every guest feels welcome. Pisona, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and always appeared at the right moment without ever being intrusive. She had an impressive ability to anticipate our needs, from offering wine pairings to making spot-on recommendations for first-time diners. Henry, working as a server assistant, complemented the team perfectly. He kept our table spotless, swiftly refilled our water glasses, and delivered dishes with a warm smile. His attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed and added to the overall seamless experience. The drinks from the bar were another standout feature of the evening. Seb, the bartender, greeted us with a smile and an inviting personality that immediately made us feel at home. His craft cocktails were nothing short of artful, blending bold flavors with a perfect presentation. Seb's warmth and expertise elevated the bar experience to another level. Raha's enthusiastic spiel about the menu got us excited to try nearly everything. We started with the Truffle Udon Carbonara, which Raha had personally recommended which was bursting with flavor and beautifully plated. For the main course, I chose the Blackened Chicken, a perfect balance of textures and flavors. Dessert was the highlight; Tap That Cake, Crème Brûlée Cheesecake, it was an absolute dream and the perfect way to end the meal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

This is the place I always suggest to friends when downtown. The service, food, drinks & atmosphere are always beyond exceptional. A huge thanks to the staff for always bringing their A game and making each visit feel so special.

Our experience was amazing from the time we walked in to the time we left. They really do value the customer, I asked one gentleman where the washroom was and he escorted me all the way there. Our waitress, did not catch her name unfortunately, was outstanding! She introduced us to a new wine, and was very knowledgeable about the wine! They even offered my partner and I a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! Will definitely be returning!

Very excellent attentive service. All the food was delicious. Many of the plates can be shared. A very nice meal.

Love it here my favorite restaurant in Toronto. Working a very NYC vibe in Kensington market with phenomenal staff, delicious food in a fun comfortable arty room. Sat at the kitchen bar: a front row seat to watching the chefs do their magic. Last night was a special tasting menu, highlights for me were the Crueler with Crab, the green chili, pancetta and collard paparadelle and the delicious sour dough. A perfect evening with a shout out to Rob the sommelier and my waiter who made the night with his attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service.
