Claridge’s Restaurant has gently opened its art deco doors onto Davies Street, as it embarks on a new era in its long history. This classically inspired but contemporary British restaurant – which will fully open in September – is now operated in house by the hotel itself. Design of the restaurant is led by interior architect John Heah with a strong focus on art and craftsmanship complete with extraordinary signature wall panels, tables and chairs made by Mira Nakashima bespoke for the space.Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the intimate 46-seat Connaught Grill is under the direction of internationally renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
