1st time at ivy, it didn’t disappoint, service was excellent, the food was amazing, looking forward to our next visit.

Food is sensational - quality and innovative dishes

4 of us went for the steak night and I was delighted by the delicious flat iron steak and the house butter was incredible! My dad asked for his steak to be medium rare but sent it back for a bit more cooking as it was a bit too much on the rare side for him. He sent the steak back twice for recooking but the team were very happy to help. Great service and I look forward to returning.

This was our first experience of a Wine Night, and it won't be the last! Hispi exceeded our expectations yet again. The menu was so imaginative, and as always everything was freshly and expertly cooked. My partner particularly enjoyed the melt-in-the-mouth roasted corn-fed chicken breast, while my stand-out was the Jerusalem artichoke and Madeira soup which had the most incredible flavour and velvety texture. It was great to have the paired wines - there were four of these, and they all complemented the food perfectly. We were given just enough information about each one, explaining the choice and emphasising specific features. I'd single out the amazing Domaine J. Laurens, Limoux Methode Ancestrale, Languedoc that accompanied dessert - it was the most delicious sparkling wine I've ever tasted. There was a lovely, cosy atmosphere; we were served by three members of staff, all of whom were welcoming and friendly while being also entirely professional. There was never any sense of being rushed, and we were given opportunities to 'rest' before the next course. All in all a fabulous and memorable night out, and excellent value for the outstanding quality of the experience.
