We were blown away with the cocktails and the food...the creativity in taking all the individual ingredients to another level of taste!! Also, what made the meal so memorable and enjoyable was the knowledge the waiter's imparted on us with regards to each item that was served. We opted to try the tasting menu and were not disappointed with the dishes that were served! We see ourselves going back when we're back in town. Cheers to the management and the team at ELEM!

I had a great time celebrating my friends birthday on Wednesday! Our server was great and didn't sound scripted or feel like she was trying to oversell us and made sure we had the best time while giving great food recommendations. Would definitely go back :)

New Year’s Day brunch! Eggs Benedict, smash burger and all of the accoutrements were delicious. We dined here the night before as well, and brunch was just a perfect way to start the 2025 new year. Our server was lovely and friendly.

It was our first time going there and we will definitely be back. For a downtown Vancouver restaurant I think the price was VERY REASONABLE and the quality of the food was Very Good! We were there on a Saturday evening and I was surprised that it was not more busy. The server was SOOOOO KIND. We had tickets for a show and we mentioned that to her when we arrived. After our food was delivered she looked at the time and aware that we would need to be leaving soon. She took the initiative to ask if we wanted anything else before the bills were delivered. She made some food and drink recommendations and everything was very good. I was very impressed and happy with our experience!! Thanks!

Exceptional staff, service, ambiance, food quality and hospitality. This is my third time enjoying Hector’s creations and he never disappoints. The Botanist staff is worth experiencing as much as the food. Absolutely superb quality and food pairing, wine paring and menu creativity. The menu changes with the season but if you are around in the winter anything suck, lamb or pepper salmon is and will be divine. This is a must experience!
