Levan is a restaurant in the heart of Peckham serving contemporary European dishes, inspired by the ‘bistronomy’ movement and our favourite eateries in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Stockholm and Berlin, with a focus on low intervention wines. Join us for dinner and lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We offer an a la carte menu and a £59pp chefs tasting menu. Groups over 5 will be asked to dine from the chefs menu. We ate here twice while in London - the first time was so delicious we came back! Delicious homemade pasta, both regular and gluten-free for those who need it, and they're prepping right at the front window as you walk in, which is a joy to watch. Our group loved the puffy fried bread appetizer, olives and burrata con caponatina. The burrata came with a lovely ragu of root vegetables which were quite tasty. I enjoyed the carbonara the first visit, and on the second time was treated to a new menu item - Tagliatelle with a butternut squash sauce. It was so simple, rustic, yet so much flavor. The chef comes out of the kitchen when they're not busy and chats with customers, so we were able to give him our feedback first-hand. Go there, you won't be disappointed!

My dining companion and I had a lovely lunch on a Friday. Food and service very good. The restaurant was very quiet as we were the only diners for a while. Would visit again.
