The restaurant is inspired by the historic town of San Miguel de Allende located in the hills of Mexico. Bar San Miguel provides a rustic cozy atmosphere with an amazing back patio to serve patrons quality Mexican dishes, craft tequila, margaritas and mezcal cocktails. Does Bar San Miguel offer the best Mexican dishes in New York City? Well, no. Simply because there is no such thing. However, they do have a fantastic selection of tacos and enchiladas that will more than delight your palate. More so if you are chasing them with tequila drinks with a hint of jalapeno. The customer service at Bar San Miguel is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Ultimately, the restaurant gives you the vibe of a neighborhood restaurant —one where you might meet up with some friends for dinner, have some drinks, and perhaps ponder over your investment strategy.

We came in tonight for my sister’s birthday. We actually came here for the first time a year ago for her last birthday and have been back so many times since! The food is on point and it is super consistent; Every visit it tastes exactly right. Guacamole, Arabic tacos, brisket tacos, fish tacos, birria, and the torta were the stars of the show! And always are. I know that’s a lot, but it’s true. They’re always delicious. Their special marg & every other drink was delicious too, never too sweet, always balanced. Thanks again, Chela! We’ll be back for sure.

Me and my co-workers got together for a post Christmas dinner and this was an absolute perfect place for drinks and loud fun. The portions are great for sharing and everything is delicious. Their drink menu is great, lots of fun flights to chose from. It’s not a huge place so it’s pretty tight and gets packed. Also very loud so I wanted recommend for quiet romantic dinner but fun with friends definitely two thumbs up.
