We work with first arrived, first servedpolicy. Thank you for your understanding. The kitchen closes at 9am on Monday and 9.30pm during the rest of the week and at 3.30pm on Sunday. We are opening on Mondays for Chicken & Wine Monday. The Yellow House Bar and Kitchen in south London’s Surrey Quays near the shopping centre is a big, warm hug of a local bar and restaurant. The owner is on site and usually in the kitchen preparing one of three menus on offer: the restaurant menu, the grill menu and the pizza menu. The Yellow House had an earlier incarnation in Plough Way, but has moved to more intimate premises with a slick, post-Industrial vibe when it comes to décor, but still the same perfectionist’s attention to detail, relaxed ambience, warm welcome and passion about the food on the plate. Locals love this place. The Yellow House European cuisine offers dependable classics like grilled Scottish beef burger on ciabatta with hand-cut chips, thin-crust pizzas from the wood-fired pizza oven, and seared snapper with basil mash, minestrone and rouille. There’s a log-burning stove in the bar for wintry days and a great selection of wines and draught premium lagers.

Welcome to SW16 Bar & Kitchen! It is our absolute pride and joy to have our little place on Streatham Hill. We opened up three years ago and we’ve been serving you wonderful lot ever since. We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel here, we just want to offer everybody a space where you can feel utterly at home, accompanied by simple, seasonal dishes that reflect our Executive Chef Antonio’s Puglian home. We’ve set it as our mission to really show you what hospitality can really mean. Generosity, warmth and kindness is at our core and I hope you can come in and feel at ease with us. I’m the one out front, pouring you wine or making you a cocktail and hopefully petting a dog or two. I really do intend to have a natter with each and every one of you so be prepared! We’ve got plenty going on, with regularly changing menus to keep things exciting but that core will remain the same throughout. I can’t wait to see you all.

Bringing a touch of French flair to Kennington, Toulouse Lautrec Restaurant, Piano Bar & Jazz Club is a traditional restaurant set inside a lovingly refurbished English pub. Managed by three brothers, jazz club manager, Nolan & Chef Florent, whose parents have run the neighbouring “Lobster Pot” restaurant since 1991, so there is plenty of authentic French charm on offer served by people who love what they do. Set over three floors, the warm and inviting space is divided into a rustic ground floor restaurant, 1st floor piano bar with jazz solos & duos and 2nd floor Jazz Club, which hosts the bigger bands at weekends.

    I have wanted to eat here for a while and got the chance this week. It was everything I had hoped for and more... Seasonal menu with great choice and the cookery absolutely on point. What's lovely is that there are four courses with choices on each course which works for me better than a tasting menu where the diner doesn't have choice. Everything I had tasted and looked amazing. You can tell its based on classical French roots...the core ingredient is the star and is not 'messed about with'. The associated sauces, garnish, textures all compliment it. Great wine list and a very good range of wines by the glass which works well if you have four courses with the choices supported by knowledgeable but unpretentious sommeliers. Good food is one thing but its the service and ambience that makes a restaurant you want to return to. I definitely will be returning whenever I can. Fantastic food and wine in an elegant but unstuffy environment with knowledgeable, cheerful and perfectly attentive staff. Thank you!
