Got seated right away on a Wednesday, at the counter facing the open hearth. Wonderful food, had the smoked trout and jalapeno stuffed ravioli.

We frequent Buckleys. The food, service, and atmosphere are always good. Last night however, we had an unusual experience. At the suggestion of our server,We ordered focaccia bread to start. We all began to eat it, and it was just plain cold. I asked our server if we could have warm bread. She said all of our focaccia and cakes are served room temp. I said that bread is not room temp, it is cold. Is there a way we can have it warmed up. She responded with a flat no. That was quite disappointing. Otherwise, our service and meals were great. We have had the carrot cake before, and won’t order it again because it came cold, not room temp.

Fabulous experience. Service was phenomenal. Food is delicious. And the provisions store is always a treat. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Creative cocktails. Divine wines. The staff works exceptional well together. I loved sitting by the open kitchen. Great team work! I'm going back for sure.

I didn't know until I got there that this is located in the old White House bar, which was favorite of mine in the early 90's. The instant nostalgic hit was my first impression. I love how Sage has kept the beauty and character of the place while giving it a lovely update with chandeliers, plants, and paintings by local artists. I ordered the Lavender #2 cocktail to begin and it was so delicious and presented so prettily that I had to order a second. My dinner was the Winter Salad with Salmon and it was also not only delicious but pretty as well. I am gluten free and the menu was full of great options for me. It was a very slow night, mid week, so I had the opportunity to enjoy chatting with both the owner and the server, who were absolutely lovely. I will definitely return and highly recommend a visit.
