The team at Bistro V (formerly known as Versailles) has been proud to serve the Greenwich community since 1994 at Méli-Mélo, but the story in town actually began in 1990 at the original Versailles café location a few doors up from our current location on Greenwich Avenue. The beloved Avenue has seen many changes over the years and when the current owner spotted the “for sale” sign posted on Versailles’ front door, nostalgia kicked in and could not let another Greenwich institution go! A facelift, a menu shift, and Versailles was reborn as Bistro V. Inspired by the classic bistro in France, the team at Bistro V is excited to share another cozy local hangout with their loyal patrons from Méli-Mélo and newcomers alike. Located in the heart of Greenwich, Bistro V is an all-day restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everyone’s favorite meal – weekend brunch.

L’Ostal is a Provencal restaurant rooted in history and tradition celebrating the cuisines of Southern France & its boundaries. Stemming from the old Occitania language, the word ‘ostal’ refers to house & the warmth of hospitality that encompasses welcoming one into your home. Throughout the six dialects of this language starting in Catalonia, stretching through the Languedoc into Provence and onto the Alps of Piemonte, they all embrace this welcoming through their cooking.     The chicken paillard is amazing and is my favorite dish! It was a amazing. One of my colleagues had the Monk fish and he said it was incredible. The appetizers were amazing. Len, our waiter, and the other staff there were phenomenal and very attentive. Could not have asked for a nicer business lunch atmosphere.

    La Cremaillarie is one of the few places left serving classic French food in an upscale setting in the New York area. gone are the days of Lutece and La Grenouille in Manhattan or even La Panetiere in Rye. If you want the perfect plate of fresh oysters, a lush Fois Gras or even a classic omelette, this is the place to go. An important note to those who drive to the restaurant. The GPS route that takes you through Bedford on Route 22 is winding and has several odd turns. Use the Merritt Parkway to exit 31. It's a straight run on North St/Banksville Rd. to the restaurant.

    Starting from the drinks throughout the dinner we had extremely pleasant unrushed dining experience Weight staff was wonderful, helpful and the food varied for someone that wanted something simple to something more filling I would definitely recommend the restaurant for your next dining experience
