Place adds a 5% service fee. But other than that our service was outstanding and the food was very unique and tasted amazing. Our seats were tight which was normal of a French restaurant but our server (gentleman with the glasses) helped move us to a table with more space and a view of the Ferris wheel. The oysters, French onion soup, and escargot were exceptional. The entrees they offered were very unique and that I’ve never tried before.

Food was good but food service was painfully slow, though we understand we came on a busy night. Waiter offered port as an apology but still, for the omakase price, it's disappointing. Also we were asked still or sparking when we sat down and didn't realize until we got the bill we were charged for ordering sparkling! Genuinely nuts, have never had this happen at an upscale restaurant. It's fine if it costs extra, but you got to let customers know first.

We had a very enjoyable experience during our dinner visit. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was clearly described, beautifully plated, and seasoned well. The place was clean and the ambience was nice.

Great food and service. We ordered three of the small plates, one large, and two desserts to share among three of us. All were excellent.

For me, the highlight is always the pork chop—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired with some of the best grits and collard greens I’ve ever had. It’s the kind of meal you think about long after you’ve left, counting down the days until you can have it again. Republic isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a staple of our Seattle visits. If you’re looking for a spot that consistently delivers incredible food and a warm, welcoming experience, this is it. Already looking forward to my next visit!
