Sophie's is a true neighborhood gem! Four of us dined last night and we all enjoyed our evening. The atmosphere inside Sophies is charming and cozy. We all started with a cocktail and they bring out hot bread and fresh butter in a little ceramic cup. I love when the bread is pipping hot! We then all had salads for our 1st course. Two had the smoked salmon salad and two the beet and endive salad. All were delicious and very ample. For entrees, two had the salmon in a mustard sauce and two the Seafood Vol au vent , which is seafood in puff pastry shell. It consists of good size Salmon chunks, shrimp and scallops , beautifully presented in a cream sauce. It was delicious! I don't even like salmon and I felt it was extremely tasty! The two that had the salmon filets also loved their dish. The portions are more than adequate!! For dessert we all split the warm chocolate cake. It basically is a molten chocolate cake which is rich and delicious!!!! We practically liked the plate clean. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. I would definitely recommend Sophie's Bistro!!!!

Our waiter was great, the manager was very personable. Service and food were impeccable. All around great experience, and next I am New York City I will be back!

Certainly a hidden gem! We spent an incredible Christmas Eve dinner at Chez Catherine. The food was spectacular and the maître made great suggestions. The risotto was superb. We are definitely coming back soon!
