FKABAM is a place for fun. We take our food seriously, but not ourselves. Tables are close together, and the atmosphere is loud and vibrant. Reservations are available four weeks in advance for parties of 1 to 4 guests. It's hard to leave a view when you're left speechless.. Let's start with the welcome - front of house staff dressed in uniform cream, each with their own defined and welcoming personality; no pressure to go for the tasting menu, but when you're told that it 'just keeps coming,' it's hard to resist. An informed sommelier tells you that the wine list changes each week and are responsibly sourced - this adds to the mix. And then the dishes do indeed keep coming - and what dishes they are. Victor Garvey is in many ways a summation of all the great restaurants in which he's worked - French Laundry, El Bulli etc.. This is, for me, the best place no just in London, but Europe... and it's just getting started...

Very attentive service and with a nice touch - I had mentioned it was a pre theatre birthday treat dinner so the staff surprised us with a card from them which was very sweet and thoughtful.

Unusual to have to ring a bell to get into the restaurant, but did add to the homely feeling of the restaurant. Food was excellent and the wine list had enough choices. Enjoyed the evening here, maybe because it was quiet as there were only a few other guests.
