It could have done with a tiny bit less salt, but otherwise it was perfection, the flavours of the vermouth, the nicely seasoned pomme purée and the jus went so well together and we felt the concept of a non-beef Wellington was exciting and bold. And it worked!! Paired it with a very nice Chenin blanc. Our antipodean waitress was quirky and charming and service was excellent. Food was delicious and delivered promptly. Atmosphere lovely (except one child having a meltdown which was managed admirably by the parents).
