Cracking Sunday roast. Roast beef was filling with giant yorkshire puddings and great roast potatoes. All washed down with a lovely pint of Timothy Taylors Landlord.

The food was amazing - ox cheek pudding / chicken bacon and tarragon sauce . Chips and veg . My husband had the potato wedges which he said were very good Had sticky toffee pudding desert which was yummy . It was our anniversary and we were presented with a lovely signed plate with homemade meringues which was lovely . The staff member who served us was polite and attentive . Been here 4 times now and the place never disappoints. Amazing 🤩

A return visit to the Cartford and they continue to excel. Welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent food and drinks with a wide selection of good wines and a lovely, rural ambiance. I look forward to going back again.

Very good value gif money, warm and cosy, and a lovely atmosphere. The young man serving behind the bar, and also taking and serving the pub meals, was absolutely charming. So very professional and helpful - nothing g was too much trouble for in. A real asset to the Stamford Arms. ….. He needs a pay rise!
