Okto is a must-visit for food enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable dining experience. From start to finish, every aspect of our meal was exceptional. The drinks struck the perfect balance between tradition and creativity, offering a delightful twist on classic flavors. We started with the Greek salad and octopus appetizer—both fresh and perfectly executed. For our main courses, the filet mignon with foie gras and the tiger shrimp were nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. With friends visiting next month, we already have plans to return. Okto has truly earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants!

From the moment the first bite hit my palate, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable evening. Chef Epps masterfully wove together history, culture, and flavor, transforming each dish into a powerful story of resilience, influence, and innovation. My favorites were: the Carolina Gold Rice Porridge—luxurious, comforting, and layered with the smoky umami of mussels, charred Brussels sprout leaves, and the rich heat of duck ham shito. And the Ricotta Cassava Dumplings? A true masterpiece. Delicate yet bold, with egusi butter and smoked turkey creating a depth of flavor that felt both nostalgic and completely new. This wasn’t just a meal. It was a masterclass in storytelling through food, a love letter to the flavors and traditions that have shaped global cuisine. Chef Tristen Epps is a culinary genius, and this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you have the chance to attend, do not hesitate. 12/10—absolutely phenomenal.

Today I recently had the pleasure of visiting this establishment, and from the moment I walked in, I was treated to exceptional service and hospitality. The lovely young lady who greeted me set the tone for a wonderful experience, and our service continued with Anais's super friendly smile and refreshing personality only added to the warmth of the welcome. Anais is a gem! She made sure to check on us without being overly eccentric. Such a pleasant surprise! Misty, another team member, stopped by to recommend the Cajun Blackened Chicken, one of her favorite dishes. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and I appreciated the personal touch. Anais officially introduced herself and suggested the Roasted Corn Guacamole, which was not only delicious but also came with a fascinating backstory that she shared with us. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. Every single person I interacted with was extremely pleasant, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. Great food and service. Went for brunch and enjoyed the chicken and waffles and the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. 10/10
