I ordered a chicken picatta which was one of the better ones I have ever tasted. The sauce was not overly rich with butter which I really liked and the salt and sour were very nicely balanced. They have an extensive wine list but we ordered by the glass for which they have the option of a larger pour which is perfect. Service was terrific and friendly as well. We felt very welcome. He truly enjoys his work. The food was awesome. I had the trout with scallop risotto and broccolini, while my friend had the shepherd's pie made with short ribs which was wonderful. The charcuterie platter was great, as was the fried cheesecake at the end. We were able to strike up a conversation with the people at the the next table to compare notes on the food.
