Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens.     We had a GORGEOUS dinner with my in-laws the night before Thanksgiving. We've heard great things about Iron Gate, but truly everything from the service, to the items we ordered (and multiple little extras the chef sent out) were extraordinary. The chocolate dessert, we all agreed, was one of the best of our lives. Truly a hospitality-driven experience and we can't wait for an excuse to head back.

    Our table enjoyed happy hour drinks and apps. We also ordered the scampi and shrimp pasta as well as their signature shrimp pasta dish. We were impressed by it all. The portions are generous for the price. Highly recommend the baklava! Only thing to note is more of a mobility/family point of interest. The bathrooms are located upstairs and it was lacking a baby changing area. My only critique would be to add something in the bathroom to accommodate families. Otherwise a great night and everyone spoke about how delicious the food was and how we would definitely make a point to come again soon! It brought us right back to Europe.

    The brunch buffet was definitely worth the price. I typically don’t like buffets but there were plenty of options and the food was consistently replenished. The baklava pancakes, the brussel sprouts and the seafood options were my favorite.

    Always enjoy Vasos Kitchen / Dixie Pig House! Food very good as it usually is. A bit too noisy for me though...but good for Vasos as they were quite full!
