Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Taxim, which is located in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, features regionally-inspired Greek dishes paired with an all-Greek wine list. The stunning dining room is fitted with soaring 16-foot ceilings, travertine marble floors, dramatic Byzantine-style lamps and artwork, and the rooftop dining area lined with Greek flowering herbs.The restaurant was chosen as one of of Chicago's Best New Restaurants in 2009/2010 by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine and the Chicago Reader. Additionally, Taxim's housemade yogurt with young favas and lamb confit was selected as one of the Best Bites of 2009 by the Chicago Reader, the house-cured sardines were mentioned in Time Out Chicago's 2009 "100 Best Things We Ate (and drank) This Year" feature, and the wood-grilled octopus was selected as 2010's "Best New Dish" by Chicago magazine.     I haven't been here for many years so I'm not sure when the update was done, but the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! Our server was awesome and the food was excellent!! I had the stuffed chicken breast... outstanding!! Every dish was cooked to perfection! My son had the fish of the day with table side deboning. I can guarantee he will be talking about the fish for a long time to come!

    This was our first visit to the new Ema Restaurant in Glenview. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The restaurant decor was beautiful, the server Ellie was very friendly and helpful in explaining our choices on the menu. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed our selections and were happy with the delicious Greek Yogurt dessert for the birthday girl which we all happily shared with her. We give Ema 10 stars and will be returning and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone! The Kupperman Family

    Excellent food and great ambience. Service was a little on the slow side particularly since it was not busy. However, we were just hanging out, so it wasn't really an issue. Highly recommended.

    Absolutely outstanding! This restaurant has some of the best Mediterranean flavors I’ve ever experienced. The Lavraki was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with just the right touch of seasoning. The beet salad was a fresh and vibrant masterpiece, beautifully balanced with flavors and textures. The Tzatziki was creamy, tangy, and the perfect complement to the meal. And don’t even get me started on the baklava— frozen yogurt, crispy pastry sheets, honey with just the right amount of sweetness to end the meal on a high note. From start to finish, the food was impeccable, and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend!
