Kiki on the River is a breathtaking dining destination that truly captures the essence of Miami’s glamorous waterfront lifestyle. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the immaculate views of the Miami River, with luxurious yachts docking right beside our table. The scene was straight out of a postcard, and the serene yet vibrant atmosphere made our evening feel extra special. We started our meal with lychee martinis, which were perfectly balanced—sweet, refreshing, and strong. For dinner, we indulged in the lamb chops, which were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The creamy mashed potatoes were rich and buttery without being overwhelming. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, with just the right amount of dressing, and the mushroom risotto was a standout. The combination of the stunning views, the impeccable service, and the exceptional food made for an unforgettable experience. Watching the yachts glide by as we enjoyed our meal added a touch of magic to the evening. Kiki on the River is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a luxurious yet relaxed dining experience in Miami. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this place is a must-visit. Visiting on Valentine’s Day was disappointing due to the limited prix fixe menu, offering only four additional regular menu items. I prefer a broader selection and, despite calling ahead, couldn’t reach anyone to confirm the menu details. Had I known, I wouldn’t have made the reservation. The filet mignon arrived cold, and the chicken was overcooked. When my mother ordered a mojito with the alcohol on the side, we were informed it would incur an extra charge, equivalent to ordering a separate shot. This policy suggests they might be skimping on alcohol in their cocktails. On a positive note, the ambiance and scenery were gorgeous. February offers beautiful weather in South Florida, perfect for sky gazing and watching airplanes fly by. Our server, Nykita, was amazing—making numerous efforts to accommodate us, including speaking Spanish and providing alternatives. The menu was the biggest disappointment, especially since it was my brother’s birthday and we love Mediterranean food. The entrée options—salmon, filet mignon, a vegetarian dish, and chicken skewers—didn’t fully represent Mediterranean cuisine, except for the branzino, which I chose. They offered two desserts, but by the time we ordered, only the cheesecake was available. I had hoped for the chocolate dessert, which was already gone. In summary, while the setting and service were commendable, the limited menu, food quality issues, and restrictive policies detracted from the overall experience.

Doya – A Must-Try for Greek & Turkish-Inspired Meze Recently dined at Doya, a fantastic spot that blends Greek and Turkish flavors with a menu designed for sharing. The restaurant specializes in both cold and hot meze, making it perfect for a communal dining experience. For cold meze, I highly recommend the traditional fava bean spread, eggplant (babaganoush), green goddess dip (similar to tzatziki), and shrimp carpaccio—all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Among the hot meze, we tried the rib steak over the wood-fired grill, which, while cooked well, needed a bit more seasoning. However, the grilled Dorado fish was outstanding—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We rarely order dessert, but the chocolate mousse with cherries was a standout and an absolute must-try. Service at Doya is team-oriented, delightful, and impressively quick. The food comes out fast, making for a seamless dining experience without feeling rushed. Overall, Doya delivers a wonderful dining experience, with a well-executed menu, great service, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore high-quality Mediterranean flavors in a shareable format.

EXCELENT FOOD, BEAUTIFULL PLACE, AND EXTEMELY GOOD SERVICE. HOUR SERVER MADE US FEEL AT HOME. IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO SPELL HIS NAME, BUT HE IS FROM TURKEY, AND IS MARRIEDS TO A CUBAN, SO HE SPEAK 3 LANGUAGES. TRY TO HAVE HIM TAKING CARE OF YOU, AND YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL BE OUTSTANDING !!
